Turn10, the developer behind the acclaimed Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon franchises, sought a comprehensive solution to address their long-standing challenges. With evergreen titles requiring continuous updates, DLC releases, and upcoming AAA productions, Turn10 faced escalating studio costs and the need for sustained contractor collaboration. Additionally, the studio required extensive production support to deliver the multitude of cars essential for both franchises.
It was important for Turn 10 to establish a new relationship that improved over previous engagements with other vendors, who had issues maintaining a positive experience with the client and employees.

In January 2021, Lakshya began the Managed Service agreement with 10 employees across the Art, Research, Concept, and Design disciplines. Through a strong partnership, this collaboration has grown to over 40 employees spanning multiple specialties. Lakshya continues to provide post-launch support for the Forza games.
This was a collaborative effort that brought together experts from multiple disciplines, each playing a vital role in shaping the game’s final experience. Our team focused on creating high-quality environments, refining core engineering tools, and enhancing gameplay elements to deliver a more immersive and polished racing simulation. From building and optimising tracks to improving lighting workflows, implementing realistic car audio, and ensuring the highest visual fidelity, our efforts spanned various aspects of production.
We Built new tracks for Forza Motorsport. Additionally, we assisted with track sourcing, point cloud data extrapolation, drivable surfaces, asset reviews, polish, barriers, and collision setups.
Improved Turn10’s proprietary engine tools, including major enhancements to the lighting workflow, significantly reducing bake times. Furthermore, we worked to fix the gameplay and networking bugs and integrated UI components.
Created and integrated realistic car engine sounds. Besides this, we implemented the innovative Blind Driving Assist feature, enabling visually impaired gamers to enjoy the racing experience.
Supported environment team bug fixes and collaborated with the rendering team to resolve technical issues.
Tuned next-gen dynamic weather patterns and lit tracks developed by the environment team.
Ensured cars met release standards by achieving Zero Bug Burndown (ZBB), updating to Gen 9 PBR materials, and fine-tuning to specifications.
