The client sought a co-dev partner for animation clean-up and utilization of their proprietary engine. This involved retargeting animations for wrestlers of different heights, configuring attributes like damage control, rope motions, gestures, facial expressions, controller vibrations, crowd cheer, and delivering game-ready assets. Due to the game’s nature and risky moves, mocap data often differed from actual wrestler moves, requiring keyframing and timing adjustments for realistic impacts. Seamless live connectivity with the client’s Game Engine, Perforce, and Engine tools was essential.
